Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an Electrician to work in a Rail environment on nights in Sydney, Australia. The role focuses on maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of rail door systems within a well-established company.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electrical/mechanical experience, a safety-first approach, and are open to night shifts. Permanent residency or citizenship is required to work in Australia.

Qualifications

Experience as Electrician/ Mechanical Fitter/ Rail Technician.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
RIW Card or rail experience would be beneficial.
Open to working nights.
Strong commitment to safety.
Hold Permanent Residency or be a Citizen.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of door systems
Carrying out inspections, testing and fault-finding
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
Completing preventative and corrective maintenance
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to required standards
