Job summary

Ferrovial Services Australia is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep roads and infrastructure assets in top condition. You will work across shifts, perform MOT setup, pothole repairs, guardrail work, and general maintenance to meet contract standards.

The role requires safety-first mindset, the ability to read instructions, operate common tools and equipment, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment. 24/7 availability is required to support critical operations.

Qualifications

• Must practice safe work methods and stay accident-free.
• Hazard recognition and proactive safety measures.
• Ability to read, write and interpret safety and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math for measurements, area calculations and proportions.
• Flexible to work 24/7 shifts and respond to on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) controls.
• Maintain roads and infrastructure assets (potholes, striping, reflectors).
• Perform basic landscape maintenance when required.
• Operate trucks and light equipment on site.
• Work at heights from bucket trucks and scaffolding.
• Follow company policies and procedures and uphold safety standards.
