Job summary

Service Stream is hiring Full Time Nightshift Road Maintenance Workers for permanent roles based out of our Clayton depot, VIC. Work involves rapid incident response, routine servicing of pavements and bridges, and data capture in the field.

You will operate in crews of 2-4 under supervision, contributing to a major VRMC contract with emphasis on safety and efficiency. Experience with road assets and civil construction is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining pavements, bridges and roadside assets as part of a crew.
• TMA experience preferred but not essential.
• Sound knowledge of safety practices and road work procedures.
• Willingness to work night shifts and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid response to incidents and emergencies across the network.
• Carry out routine servicing and hazard/defect rectification for pavements, bridges and roadside assets.
• Complete works with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
• Record works-related data in the field with accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in daily pre-start and shift-close meetings, contributing ideas for improvements.
