Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is recruiting for a Roadway Maintenance Technician within Infrastructure Management in Australia. You will maintain roadways and related assets, support incident response, and ensure safety through proper traffic control.

The role requires the ability to work from heights, operate trucks, and comply with PPE and safety standards while supporting 24/7 operations and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 2+ years in infrastructure/maintenance or repair is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class A preferred.
• Must obtain Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) certification within 3 months.
• Must complete National Incident Management System (NIMS) training within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair roads and roadway assets per contract standards.
• Set up and remove traffic control devices to ensure safe MOT and TTC zones.
• Transport crew and equipment to work sites using large trucks and trailers.
• Assist with emergency roadway incident response and traffic restoration.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety procedures at all times.
