Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a Roadway Technician – LEAD to join our team in Sydney, Australia. You will lead maintenance crews, supervise day-to-day roadwork, and ensure contractual compliance while maintaining assets such as roadways, medians, signs and barriers.

You must be comfortable working from heights, perform MOT, coordinate logistics, and respond to emergencies. We value safety, teamwork, and the ability to operate a range of tools in a dynamic, 24/7 operations environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required to apply.
• Must demonstrate safe work practices and hazard awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance crews and supervise daily roadwork activities.
• Ensure MOT control and safe traffic management setup/removal.
• Repair and maintain highway surfaces and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate logistics and transport of crew/equipment to sites.
• Respond to emergencies and overtime as needed.
