Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support contracted assets including roads and vegetation in the Sydney area. Under supervision, you will assist in upkeep, operate equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role requires a High School diploma, basic math, and the ability to travel occasionally. The pay is hourly in the Australian market, with opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication, both spoken and written.
• Basic math skills for calculations.
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read operating and maintenance instructions and safety rules.
• Able to handle changing priorities and dynamic workloads.
• Experience with hand and power tools and site equipment.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow and ice by using snow removal equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading of winter materials; maintain highway surfaces.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for surface and right-of-way maintenance.
• May assist with traffic control setup and removal.
• Transport crew and equipment to work sites; be available for overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
