Job summary

Club Assist, part of the Australian Motoring Services Group, is seeking a roadside technician on the Gold Coast. You will diagnose roadside issues, advise customers, and promote our automotive services while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a qualified mechanic with an unrestricted NT Driver’s Licence, willingness to work weekends/evenings, and a focus on reliable, friendly service. An operational vehicle and full PPE are provided to support daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified mechanic.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional communication.
• Unrestricted NT Driver’s Licence is required.
• Battery and auto-electrical knowledge is preferred.
• Flexible with weekend and evening work.
• Proven reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics to vehicles at the roadside and sell/fit batteries as needed.
• Offer trusted mechanical advice to customers.
• Deliver and promote AMS services efficiently and professionally.
• Follow policies and keep financial/administrative records up to date.
• Work safely at all times and protect the health and safety of others.
• Keep company vehicles, tools and PPE clean and report faults.
