Job summary
Maranoa Regional Council is seeking a hands-on plant operator to construct and maintain the region's road network. You will operate graders, rollers, loaders, excavators and backhoes, while ensuring safety, accurate servicing, and documentation.

Qualifications
- Operates a range of Council plant and equipment to construct and maintain the road network.
- Maintains safety and OEM procedures during operations.
- Completes daily servicing and plant records to minimise downtime.
Responsibilities
- Operate Council plant and equipment to construct and maintain roads.
- Safely operate machinery in line with OEM specs and procedures.
- Complete daily servicing and maintain plant records.
- Support road repairs, renewals and maintenance activities.
- Undertake general labouring and site preparation.
- Assist with traffic control signage and site setup.
- Work with a multi-skilled team and support other departments.
