Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking a Supervisor Roads and Footpath Maintenance to lead the day-to-day maintenance of road reserves and footpaths. You will manage inspections, coordinate internal staff and contractors, and ensure timely response to public requests.

The role offers a salary range of $98,182.78 to $113,892.48 per annum plus super, 38 hours per week with a 9-day fortnight, and a leaseback vehicle. Applicants should have suitable civil engineering qualifications and traffic control

Qualificações

• TAFE Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field, or nearing completion.
• Traffic Control Certificates.
• Current Class C Drivers Licence.
• WHS Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
• Knowledge of local government engineering operations.
• Experience engaging and supervising contractors for civil maintenance.
• Experience in road and footpath maintenance.
• 38 hours per week / 9 day fortnight.
• Health & Fitness $100 yearly reimbursement (conditional).
• Supportive team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate service requests from the public and determine an appropriate course of action.
• Monitor reactive maintenance requests to ensure that they are allocated to the relevant work teams/ contractors.
• Carry out cost estimates and manage the work order process, including the supervision of internal staff and contractors as required.
• Carry out assessment and inspections of traffic control plans and implementation.
• Coordinate the operations of Road Services staff with a proactive approach to the environment.

Knowledge of local government eng. ops

Experience supervising contractors

Road & footpath maintenance knowledge

Formação académica

TAFE Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field

Traffic Control Certificates

Current Class C Drivers Licence
