Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking a motivated Supervisor Drainage Maintenance to lead our Road Services team in delivering high-quality drainage work for the community. You will supervise staff, coordinate maintenance programs and oversee safety and traffic control.

The role offers a standard 38-hour week (9-day fortnights), access to a private leaseback vehicle, Fitness Passport, and various leave and health benefits. You will engage contractors and drive operational excellence across assets.

Qualifications

• TAFE Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent with drainage maintenance experience
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, and develop operational teams
• Experience engaging contractors and overseeing civil maintenance projects
• Traffic Control Certificates (or willingness to obtain) and WHS knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and basic surveying
• Strong written and verbal communication and commitment to customer service
• 38 hours per week / 9 day fortnight

Responsabilités

• Investigate and respond to public service requests, ensuring timely and effective solutions
• Manage scheduled and reactive drainage maintenance programs, ensuring assets meet industry best practices
• Supervise and motivate staff, manage work orders, and oversee traffic control and safety compliance
• Maintain equipment, plant, and small machinery, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely
• Provide guidance, training, and support to your team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
