Job summary

Ku-ring-gai Council seeks a Supervisor Roads and Footpath Maintenance to oversee the upkeep of road reserves and footpaths. You will report to the Coordinator Road Services and supervise staff and contractors, with focus on cost estimates and compliance.

Role includes a 38-hour week on a 9-day fortnight, a leaseback vehicle, and a salary of AUD 98,182.78–113,892.48 per year plus super. Closes 11/11/2026; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• TAFE or equivalent in civil infra maintenance or related field.
• Traffic control certificates and a valid Class C license.
• WHS Construction Induction (White Card) certification.

Responsibilities

• Investigate service requests and determine actions.
• Monitor reactive maintenance and allocate to teams/contractors.
• Carry out cost estimates and supervise work orders.
• Assess traffic control plans and their implementation.
• Coordinate Road Services staff with a proactive environmental approach.
