Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or equivalent required.
• TAFE accredited/industry-based training required or demonstrated experience in municipal roadside, road and drainage maintenance and traffic management.
• Competency in operation of plant and equipment (backhoe, bobcat, excavator).

Responsibilities

• Manage customer expectations and concerns in a timely manner.
• Work with the Unsealed Road and Drain Maintenance Team to coordinate works.
• Operate plant and equipment to maintain the Shire infrastructure safely and efficiently.
• Assist with traffic management setups and use of hand tools as needed.
• Complete tasks in all weather conditions and follow Shire work practices.
