Qualifications

• Valid Driver's Licence is required.
• Experience operating pressure washers and heavy cleaning equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor repairs.
• Solid understanding of workplace safety and WHS practices.
• Physical fitness for outdoor manual labour in varying weather.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR/HC/MC) preferred.
• Experience in fleet detailing, transport or logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Washing and Detailing for prime movers, rigid trucks and trailers.
• Yard Operations to keep the transport yard clean, safe and organized.
• Equipment and Facility Maintenance for wash bay gear and general yard upkeep.
• Follow WHS guidelines, wear PPE and report hazards or defects.

At Richers Transport, we take pride in our fleet and our reputation on the road. We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Road Transport Yard Attendant to join our team. If you enjoy hands‑on work, taking pride in vehicle presentation, and keeping operational yards running smoothly, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Washing & Detailing: Clean, wash, and detail prime movers, rigid trucks, and trailers (interiors and exteriors) using pressure washers and proper cleaning products to maintain company presentation standards.
• Yard Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized transport yard. Manage load restraint storage and assist workshop and operational teams with vehicle movements.
• Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Keep wash bay equipment stocked and operational, conduct general yard housekeeping, and assist with minor facility maintenance.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow Work Health & Safety (WHS) guidelines, wear required PPE, report potential hazards or vehicle defects, and ensure proper waste water and chemical handling.

What We Are Looking For

• Valid Driver's Licence.
