Job summary

Land Transport in Brisbane seeks a self-motivated Yardperson to assist in loading, unloading and securing general freight at our Brisbane Depot. You will work on local, intrastate freight with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires experience with loading/unloading, a current forklift license, and willingness to learn about dangerous goods. RF scanners and a heavy vehicle license are advantageous. We offer above award wages, supplied uniforms, and stable conditions.

Qualifications

In this role we are looking for an self-motivated, experienced and reliable Yardperson in our Brisbane Depot. This role you will be responsible for assisting in the yard loading, unloading and securing of general freight for our local, intrastate and interstate freight.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Experience with loading and unloading General Freight and Load Restraint
• Hold a current Forklift License with proven experience
• Previous experience working with Dangerous Goods is preferred or willingness to learn
• Experience operating RF scanners will be advantageous
• Hold a current Heavy Vehicle license will be advantageous
