Job summary

Logical Staffing Solutions is seeking Yard Drivers for day and afternoon shifts at Port of Brisbane and Lytton. You will handle gate-in/out, perform basic PDIs and vehicle prep, and relocate vehicles around the yard.

This hands-on role requires endurance and attention to detail in a busy automotive environment. Ideal candidates have a current manual driver's license, strong work ethic, reliability, and physical fitness to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle gate-in and gate-out processes
• Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and basic vehicle preservation
• Conduct damage, cleanliness, and presentation inspections
• Relocate brand new vehicles throughout the yard
• Prepare vehicles for dispatch, including basic wash bay tasks and QA inspections
• Maintain yard cleanliness and housekeeping

Yard Drivers Wanted NOW!!!! – Day & Afternoon Shift | Monday to Friday

Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-moving automotive and logistics environment? We’re seeking reliable and motivated Yard Drivers to join a busy operations team based in Lytton & Port of Brisbane.

Shift Details:

• Must be available to work Monday through to Friday

• Start times: Port of Brisbane Day Shift 6:30am – 8:30am, Afternoon Shift 2.30pm to 10.30pm. Start times: Lytton 9.00am to 5.00pm

• Temp to Perm opportunities available

About the Roles:

As part of a high-performing yard operations team, you’ll be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Managing vehicle gate-in and gate-out processes

• Completing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and basic vehicle preservation

• Conducting quality inspections for damage, cleanliness, and presentation

• Relocating brand new vehicles throughout the yard

• Preparing vehicles for dispatch, including basic wash bay washing, removing vehicle wrapping and QA inspections

• Maintaining yard cleanliness and general housekeeping standards

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Open Manual Driver’s License with the ability to drive manual (MUST HAVE)

• Availability to commence immediately.

• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude.

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.

• Physical fitness to stand and walk for extended periods. Can walk up to 20,000 steps a day on some days.

• Previous automotive, yard, logistics or vehicle handling experience highly regarded but not essential.
