Qualifications

• Current HC driver’s licence required.
• Experience operating/heavy vehicles preferred.
• Ability to reverse and position trucks/trailers confidently.
• Availability for 5:00am–6:00am starts.

Responsibilities

• Move trucks and trailers around the yard.
• Position vehicles for loading/unloading.
• Assist with general yard operations and housekeeping.
• Deliveries when required (local).
• Complete vehicle checks and report issues.

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced HC Driver / Yard Hand to join a well-established transport company based in Brendale.

This is primarily a yard-based position involving the movement of trucks and trailers, general yard duties and occasional deliveries as required.

Your duties will include

• Moving trucks and trailers around the yard
• Positioning vehicles for loading and unloading
• Assisting with general yard operations
• Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any issues
• Completing local deliveries when required
• Following all workplace safety and transport procedures

To be successful, you will have

• A current HC driver's licence
• Previous experience operating and manoeuvring heavy vehicles
• Confidence reversing and positioning trucks and trailers
• Availability for 5:00am-6:00am starts
• The ability to complete general hands-on yard duties
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• A reliable and team-focused attitude
