Job summary

Transport For NSW is seeking a Road Worker Grade 3 capable of operating road rollers for construction and maintenance across regional NSW. The role requires experience in road maintenance, a White Card, a valid Class C licence, and the ability to work across Narrandera and surrounding locations.

You will perform safety checks, document records, and contribute to safe, quality outcomes. The role is permanent full-time with on-site duties, potential weekend work, and opportunities to progress

Qualifications

• Experience in road maintenance or a Road Worker Grade 3 role.
• A current Construction Industry White Card.
• A current Australian motor vehicle driver licence (Class C).
• Willingness to undertake any required licensing or ticketing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate road rollers to support road construction and maintenance.
• Undertake road maintenance activities and related duties.
• Use hand tools and small plant safely and effectively.
• Complete pre-start checks, basic plant maintenance and refuelling.
• Follow safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Work independently and with a team to deliver maintenance outcomes.
• Identify hazards and escalate complex issues to supervisors.
