Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Civil Labourer/Roller Operator for a local project in Flagstone, Queensland. Start ASAP with easy onboarding and 6:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday shifts. You will assist with site prep, earthworks, and pipe installations while using hand tools and small plant.

Applicants must have a driver''s license, own transport, White Construction Card, and a valid RII Roller Ticket. Physical fitness and good communication are essential for this role in a local civil crew.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license and access to own transport.
• White Construction Card is required.
• RII Roller Ticket is required.
• At least 12 months of experience in the listed duties.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Good communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, setup, and clean-up.
• Support earthworks by spotting machinery and handling materials.
• Shovel, rake, spread and compact soil and aggregates.
• Assist with excavation, backfilling and trench works.
• Assist with installation of stormwater, sewer and service pipes.
• Prepare subgrade and sub-base for roads and pavements.
• Assist with kerb, channel, asphalt and concrete works.
• Operate hand tools and small plant (compactors, cutters, jackhammers).
• Load, unload and distribute materials and equipment.
• Operate the roller where required.

About Our Client

Our client is a large, family-owned civil construction contractor in Australia operating across Queensland and New South Wales.

They are now looking for Road Civil Labourer/Roller Operators to commence ASAP!

What You Will Be Doing

As a Civil Labourer/Roller Operator, your duties will involve

• Assist with site preparation, setup, and general clean-up
• Support earthworks by spotting machinery and handling materials
• Shovel, rake, spread, and compact soil and aggregates
• Assist with excavation, backfilling, and trench works

Shift Structure

6:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
