Job summary

SIRROM invites applications for a DIDO Admin/Utility role in Mackay region. You will bring RMS front office booking experience to manage remote village reservations on a 14/7 roster, with 10-hour shifts.

The role focuses on handling bookings, arrivals and movements while maintaining strict health and hygiene standards. Ideal candidates have at least two years in remote mine-site villages, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in remote mine-site villages or workforce camps with RMS experience.
• Hands-on customer service with a can-do approach.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Friendly, positive attitude to promote a productive work environment.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and drug screen.
• Australian Open Driver's License.
• National Police Check (within 1 month).
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Current Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete.
• Current QLD RSA or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Remote village administration and reservations management.
• Manage high-volume bookings, amendments and cancellations.
• Handle guest arrivals, departures, room allocations and movements.
• Maintain occupancy reports and reservation records.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site personnel.
• Maintain strict health and hygiene standards.
• Work independently to manage a busy reservations workload.
• Travel to/from site as required.
