Job summary

ISS is seeking an experienced receptionist to support a drive-in-drive-out mining village in Central Queensland. The role focuses on front-desk duties, site administration and coordinating travel, accommodation and onboarding for personnel.

You will handle calls, greet guests, manage records, and liaise with multiple stakeholders while complying with policies. A current Australian license, own transport, and a National Police Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Previous Administration or Receptionist experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with experience across multiple systems.
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• FIFO/DIDO or resource sector experience highly regarded.
• Open & unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate contacts.
• Greet and assist guests and clients with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and data entry.
• Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for personnel.
• Assist with onboarding and mobilisation of employees and contractors; support payroll and timesheets.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
