Job summary

Foundry Talent Partners is partnering with an international bank that is establishing its Australian branch to hire a Risk Manager. You will build out the second line risk function from the ground up, reporting to the local Head of Risk and Compliance and owning day-to-day oversight of market, liquidity and operational risk.

Initially you will support regulatory authorisation and operational readiness, then lead ongoing monitoring, limits and reporting once the branch commences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the branch risk management framework, policies and limits
• Oversee market and liquidity risk, including monitoring, stress testing and escalation
• Manage operational risk and resilience across the branch
• Provide risk reporting to local and regional management
