Job summary

RAC Insurance is seeking a Risk & Compliance Specialist in Western Australia to strengthen the risk and compliance framework. You will assess incidents, identify breaches and monitor risk indicators to drive improvements in incident management and risk mitigation.

This role sits within the Product & Sales team and partners with stakeholders across the organisation. The successful candidate will bring risk management experience, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of insurance/regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management or compliance within a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and data accuracy.
• Knowledge of insurance or financial services regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incident triage to assess compliance and operational impacts.
• Coordinate and document incident investigations in the risk system.
• Identify systemic issues and implement improvement measures.
• Conduct control testing and monitor key risk indicators.
• Educate stakeholders on risk responsibilities and promote a risk culture.
• Support the Business Risk & Compliance team on initiatives.
