Job summary

St Spyridon Parish is seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to strengthen organisation-wide risk management, governance, assurance, work health and safety and safeguarding. The appointee will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Head of College and Shared Services colleagues.

A key priority is to assess current arrangements, identify gaps and implement practical improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk and compliance management in educational or regulated settings.
• Three+ years of relevant experience and professional qualifications.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, policy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen organisation-wide risk management, governance, assurance, WHS and safeguarding.
• Assess existing arrangements, identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Develop enterprise risk frameworks and registers and support reporting to senior leaders and Board.
• Oversee audits, incident management, emergency preparedness, business continuity and reporting.
• Collaborate with staff, clergy and volunteers to drive compliance and safety.
