Job summary

RAA seeks an experienced compliance/risk professional to strengthen governance and risk capability across the group. You will provide SME advice, support projects, and help ensure regulatory and contractual obligations are understood and managed, working with senior stakeholders in a values-led organisation.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in compliance, legal or risk is essential.
• Experience in compliance, legal or risk environments is desirable.
• Ability to translate legislation/regulatory guidance into practical outcomes.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory change and assess business impacts.
• Manage, investigate and assess incidents and breaches.
• Prepare internal compliance reporting and support regulator reporting.
• Draft and maintain governance, risk & compliance policies and tools.
• Undertake control testing for compliance and contractual risks.
• Support delivery of the corporate insurance program, including broker relations.
• Deliver governance, risk & compliance training and awareness initiatives.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote a positive risk culture.
