Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience within compliance, regulatory risk, audit or assurance functions.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations within a complex operating environment.
• Experience conducting compliance reviews, investigations, control assessments and monitoring activities.
• Ability to interpret legislation and regulatory requirements, translating them into practical business solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and advise at multiple levels.
• Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing compliance reports and recommendations.
• Highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver risk-based compliance monitoring, thematic reviews and assurance activities to assess adherence to legislative and regulatory obligations.
• Conduct compliance investigations, control testing and desktop reviews, identifying areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide timely and practical compliance advice to business stakeholders, supporting effective decision-making and regulatory outcomes.
• Assist in the development, implementation and enhancement of compliance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assessing potential impacts and supporting the implementation of required changes.
• Prepare reports, findings and recommendations for management and governance committees.
• Track and report on compliance incidents, breaches, remediation activities and action plans.
• Support audit and regulatory engagement activities, ensuring information requests and reviews are managed effectively.
• Work collaboratively across the business to promote a strong culture of compliance, accountability and risk awareness.
