Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RF Engineer for the Leo program in Redmond to design, validate and optimize RF subsystems for high-performance WiFi and Bluetooth in satellite-enabled broadband equipment. The role collaborates with hardware and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable wireless performance across 2.4/5/6 GHz bands, including OTA and regulatory testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.

Responsibilities

• RF front-end implementation and validation testing for WiFi access points
• Optimize and validate multi-band RF circuits across 2.4/5/6 GHz bands
• Work closely with antenna teams to ensure successful RF system integration
• Create and execute RF validation test plans, including OTA, RvR, and regulatory compliance testing
• Lead RF debugging efforts during development and production phases
• Support RF component selection and vendor qualification
• Drive system-level design reviews and technical documentation
• Develop automated RF calibration and test solutions for manufacturing
