Job summary

Amazon LEO is building a global broadband constellation and seeks a hands-on RF Systems Integration and Validation Engineer to own test setups validating phased arrays and RF front-ends. You will assemble test stations, run plans, and ensure repeatable measurements across lab, environmental, and in‑orbit testing.

Role requires Linux experience, mechanical fixtures, and scripting in Python/Matlab; you will collaborate with mechanical, antenna, and RF engineers to deliver robust flows and reliable

Qualifications

• 4+ years in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with prototyping and implementation.
• 4+ years of antenna design related to 3G/4G, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth.

Responsibilities

• Execute integration and validation test plans for phased arrays, RF front‑ends, and full communication chains; document results.
• Operate test equipment and Linux-based control systems via CLI; contribute to scripting improvements (Python, Matlab, Bash).
• Build, configure, and maintain RF and system test setups including cabling, fixtures, and environmental interfaces.
• Collaborate with mechanical, antenna, and RF engineers to design fixtures and interfaces for repeatable measurements.
• Troubleshoot and perform root‑cause analysis across RF, digital and mechanical domains; provide clear summaries.
• Ensure test setups are safe, documented, and reproducible with procedures and configuration control.
• Support test automation improvements and assist with environmental/qualification testing as needed.
