Job summary

ResMed is seeking a Wellbeing Specialist – Occupational Health & Return to Work to bring health, rehabilitation and injury management expertise to the workplace. You will partner with employees, leaders, clinicians and insurers to achieve safe and sustainable recovery and to return to meaningful work.

This hands-on, collaborative role covers injury management, health surveillance, ergonomics and wellbeing initiatives, with a focus on practical solutions, governance and confidentiality across our

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in allied health, health sciences, occupational health or rehabilitation.
• Registration or professional accreditation in an allied health discipline such as nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy or exercise physiology.
• Formal Return to Work Coordinator training or equivalent accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Return to Work and injury management, coordinating individual recovery plans.
• Collaborate with employees, leaders, treating practitioners, insurers and health teams.
• Translate medical advice into practical workplace adjustments and suitable duties.
• Maintain regular contact with employees and address barriers to recovery.
• Support workers' compensation and injury management processes.
• Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Education

Tertiary qualification in allied health or related discipline

Registration in allied health profession

Return to Work Coordinator training or accreditation

Experience in occupational health, rehabilitation or injury management

Strong case management and stakeholder engagement

Ability to interpret functional capacity and medical restrictions

Experience with workers compensation processes
