Job summary

City of Sydney is seeking a skilled allied health professional to join our Work Health and Safety team. You will deliver injury management, health and wellbeing, rehabilitation and return-to-work services with a strong emphasis on psychosocial factors to optimise outcomes for employees.

We are looking for candidates with formal allied health qualifications, 2-3 years in workplace rehab, and proven skills in handling both psychological and physical injuries, along with excellent communication and

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications and accreditation/registration in an allied health discipline.
2-3 years minimum experience in workplace rehabilitation and return to work case management.
Experience managing both psychological and physical injury claims; apply a psychosocial approach to injury management.
Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage sensitive cases.

Responsibilities

Provide injury management, health and wellbeing, rehabilitation and return-to-work services to achieve optimal outcomes.
Focus on psychosocial factors that may impact recovery and work participation.
Work with the WH&S team to support employees across multiple areas.
