Job summary

WorkFocus Australia is hiring a Rehabilitation Consultant to join a multidisciplinary allied health team. You will conduct assessments, identify RTW barriers and design/monitor programs to help injured employees return to work, collaborating with clients, insurers and healthcare providers.

The role emphasizes effective communication, travel readiness, and delivering high-quality customer service to support client independence and goals in life and work.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree and full accreditation in a relevant allied health field.
• Willingness to travel (vehicle and driver's licence required).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce.
• Undertaking assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments.
• Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers.
• Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes for all parties.
• Develop and implement strategies to progress files and achieve RTW benchmarks with minimum costs.
• Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.
