Job summary

APM WorkCare, part of the APM Group, is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support clients recovering from injury or illness in progressing toward independence and meaningful life participation.

You will conduct assessments, develop tailored return-to-work plans, and collaborate with healthcare partners to facilitate successful outcomes. The role offers flexible diary management and opportunities for mentorship within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Degree in one of the listed health disciplines and active registration with the relevant professional board.
• Full registration with ESSA/AHPRA/ASORC/AASW.
• Pass a national criminal check and WWCC.
• Full Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in person or virtually to understand goals and challenges.
• Conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments.
• Provide counselling to build resilience and readiness for work or daily life.
• Create return‑to‑work plans with clients, employers and healthcare partners.
• Celebrate progress and milestones with clients.
