Job summary

APM WorkCare in Australia is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support clients as they rebuild confidence, independence and hope. You’ll walk with clients through recovery and return-to-work processes, helping them reconnect with what matters most.

Bring a degree in OT, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology, ensure ESSA/AHPRA registration, and complete pre-employment checks. This role offers flexibility and autonomy within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology.
• Full registration with ESSA or AHPRA.
• Pass a national criminal check.
• A current WWCC (Working with children check).
• Full Australian working rights.
• A valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in person or virtually to understand their goals and challenges.
• Conduct meaningful vocational and psychosocial assessments.
• Provide supportive counselling to build resilience and readiness for work or daily life.
• Create achievable return-to-work plans with clients, employers and healthcare partners.
• Celebrate progress — small wins and major milestones.
