Job summary

APM WorkCare in Sydney is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support clients recovering from injury or illness, guiding them through return-to-work and daily life reintegration. You’ll meet clients in person or virtually, conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments, and create practical, person-centred return-to-work plans with employers and healthcare partners.

You’ll be supported by leaders who understand clinical work.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology.
• Full registration with ESSA/AHPRA.
• Pass a national criminal check and WWCC.
• Full Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in person or virtually to understand goals and challenges.
• Conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments.
• Provide counselling to build resilience and readiness for work or daily life.
• Create return-to-work plans with clients, employers and healthcare partners.
• Celebrate progress and milestones.
