Job summary

APM WorkCare in Sydney is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support clients recovering from injury or illness. You’ll meet clients in person or virtually to understand goals, conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments, provide counselling, and help create achievable return-to-work plans with employers and healthcare partners.

This role offers flexible full- or part-time hours, autonomy to manage your diary, and opportunities to grow within a purpose-driven organisation that values

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology.
• Full registration with ESSA/AHPRA.
• Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment.
• A current WWCC (Working with children check)
• Full Australian working rights
• A valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in person or virtually to understand their goals and challenges
• Conduct meaningful vocational and psychosocial assessments
• Provide supportive counselling to build resilience and readiness for work or daily life
• Create achievable return-to-work plans with clients, employers and healthcare partners
• Celebrate progress — small wins and major milestones

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology

Full registration with ESSA/AHPRA

National criminal check

Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Full Australian working rights

Valid driver's licence
