Job summary

APM WorkCare is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support clients in rebuilding confidence, independence and hope after injury or illness. You will walk with clients through recovery, guiding return-to-work and meaningful daily life re-engagement, with access to clinical frameworks and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with relevant healthcare registration.
• Full professional registration with ESSA/AHPRA/ASORC/AASW or equivalent.
• Pass a national criminal check before starting employment.
• Current WWCC (Working with children check).
• Full Australian working rights.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in person or virtually to understand goals and challenges.
• Conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments with clients.
• Provide supportive counselling to build resilience and readiness for work or daily life.
• Create achievable return-to-work plans with clients, employers and healthcare partners.
• Celebrate progress through small wins and major milestones.
