Job summary

APM WorkCare is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support clients recovering from injury or illness, guiding them back to work and independence. You’ll assess needs, plan pathways and collaborate with healthcare partners to create meaningful, achievable outcomes.

You’ll work with a team that values flexibility, mentorship and comprehensive clinical frameworks, while managing your own diary and delivering person-centred care across in-person and virtual settings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation Counselling.
• Full registration with AHPRA/ASORC.
• Pass a national criminal check before employment.
• A current WWCC (Working with children check).
• Full Australian working rights.
• A valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in person or virtually to understand goals and challenges.
• Conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments.
• Provide counselling to build resilience for work or daily life.
• Create return-to-work plans with clients, employers and healthcare partners.
• Celebrate progress and milestones.
