Job summary

Marsh People Risk in Perth is seeking a Return-to-Work Consultant to provide outsourced return to work and claims consulting services. The role involves managing return-to-work processes, liaising with injured workers, employers, insurers, and medical professionals, and administering injury management software.

You'll develop and maintain return-to-work plans, review claims for progress, and provide strategic advice on claims and injury management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workers' Comp or injury management (1+ year).
• Experience in claims/injury management with insurers or employers.
• Strong organisation and time management; accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Willingness to learn workers' compensation nationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, managing the return-to-work process for injured workers, including triaging and lodging new claims promptly.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive return to work plans tailored to the needs of injured workers, ensuring compliance with employer obligations and best practices.
• Liaise with key stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, insurers and medical professionals, to provide updates, gather information, and address concerns throughout the return-to-work process.
• Conduct thorough reviews of claims to assess progress and recommend actions to facilitate recovery and return-to-work.
• Provide proactive and strategic advice to clients on claims and injury management.
• Administer injury management software, generate reports, and maintain accurate documentation and records to support effective injury management practices.
