Job summary

Marsh in Brisbane is seeking a talented individual to join our Workers Compensation team. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week in our Brisbane office.

You will support injured workers, build rapport with stakeholders and contribute to positive return to work outcomes. The role covers client service, case management and administration within a busy injury management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims management functions at an insurer or employer.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
• A proactive approach to managing tasks and identifying opportunities.
• Confidence making decisions and evaluating options effectively.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and support the Workers Compensation team during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, managing the return to work process for injured workers, including triaging and lodging new claims promptly.
• Develop and maintain return to work plans tailored to the needs of injured workers, ensuring compliance with employer obligations and best practice.
• Liaise with injured workers, employers, insurers and other stakeholders to share updates, gather information and address concerns throughout the return to work process.
• Review claims to assess progress and recommend actions that support recovery and return to work.
• Administer injury management software, prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation to support effective injury management practices.
