Job summary

Marsh People Risk in Perth is seeking a skilled Return to Work Consultant to deliver outsourced return-to-work and injury management services for our clients. You will coordinate return-to-work plans, liaise with injured workers, employers, insurers, and medical professionals, and manage injury data with our software to support timely and compliant outcomes.

The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Workers Comp and/or injury management (at least 1yr + experience).
• Experience in claims and/or injury management functions at an insurer, employer or other relevant stakeholder.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to learn workers compensation on a national basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, managing the return-to-work process for injured workers, including triaging and lodging new claims promptly.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive return to work plans tailored to the needs of injured workers, ensuring compliance with employer obligations and best practices.
• Liaise with key stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, insurers and medical professionals, to provide updates, gather information, and address concerns throughout the return-to-work process.
• Conduct thorough reviews of claims to assess progress and recommend actions to facilitate recovery and return-to-work.
• Provide proactive and strategic advice to clients on claims and injury management.
• Administer injury management software, generate reports, and maintain accurate documentation and records to support effective injury management practices.
