Job summary

Reece Group’s Actrol division in Alexandria is seeking a customer‑focused Trade Counter team member. You’ll help engineers, project managers and tradespeople access the products they need and keep the branch running smoothly.

A typical day includes providing product information and quotes, picking and packing, stock control, keeping displays tidy and safe, and occasional deliveries using a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Ability to pick orders and maintain stock information.
• Tech‑savvy and quick to learn new systems.
• Clean, valid driver’s licence.
• Wants to develop their career locally or at head office.

About the role

As part of the Trade Counter team in Alexandria, you'll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain essential services, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

A typical day will involve:

• Providing customer service and information about products
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Helping keep the branch tidy and safe
• Making occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle

We'd love to hear from you if you're someone who:

• Has previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
• Tech-savvy and adaptable learning new systems
• Has a clean valid driver's licence
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our network or head office
