Job summary

Reece Group in Braddon is seeking a Trade Counter Assistant to support branch operations. You will deliver parts to customers, assist with stock control, and help maintain a tidy, safe warehouse and counter area.

You’ll engage with plumbers and tradespeople, provide product information, and contribute to a responsive customer service experience across the branch network.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery driving, retail or customer service is preferred.
• Able to assist customers both in person and over the phone.
• Comfortable with picking orders and maintaining shop displays.

About the role

As part of the Trade Counter team in Braddon, you’ll divide your time between delivering products, providing customer service to plumbers and other tradespeople as well as undertaking other tasks that keep the warehouse and trade counter running smoothly.

Your day-to-day

A typical day involves:

• Delivering parts and products to customers using a company vehicle
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Helping keep the branch and warehouse tidy and safe
• Providing customer service and information about products

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

• Has previous experience in delivery driving, retail or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
• Is tech-savvy and adaptable to learning new systems
• Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our network or head office
