Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking a Retail Supervisor for our Samaritans shops. You will supervise staff (paid and unpaid) and oversee shop performance, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service.

This casual vacancy offers flexible work arrangements and growth opportunities within a purpose-driven charity, with responsibilities including rostering, data entry and volunteer support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience or commitment to the proactive provision of superior customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to support, guide or train existing and new team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and mentoring of volunteer team members, including allocation of daily tasks.
• Administration duties including rostering, data entry and completing financial calculations on a computer.
• Domestic duties within the shop such as cleaning benches, mopping, cleaning toilets and other general duties.
• Assist with sorting and distribution of donated goods.
