Job summary

Pets Domain in Murwillumbah is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our pet supplies store on the shop floor, drive sales, and coach a small team.

You will own store performance, manage stock and rosters, deliver great customer experiences, and build connections with the local community while supporting animal welfare.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management or strong retail leadership experience
• Confidence leading, coaching and developing a team
• A good understanding of KPIs, budgets, wages and stock management
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of store performance
• Experience within the pet industry is not essential — we’ll provide the training and support you need to build your product and animal care knowledge.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced retail leader to take ownership of our Murwillumbah store and lead a small, hands‑on team.

As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of your store from developing your team and delivering great customer experiences to driving sales, managing stock and maintaining high operational standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, developing people and taking ownership of results.

Previous pet retail or animal care experience is a bonus, but not essential — a genuine love of animals and willingness to learn is what matters most.
