Job summary

Ghanda Clothing in Glenelg, SA is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead the GhandaGang and drive store performance on the ground.

You will manage a team of up to 15, champion Ghanda values, maintain visual standards, and collaborate with stock to balance stock and floor space. The role offers a 38-hour week, allowances, and a generous bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience directing and developing a team.
• Customer-first mindset with strong retail professionalism.
• Retail or hospitality background preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to coach, train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Stock Allocator to manage stock levels and floor space.

A day in the life

As a RETAIL STORE MANAGER, you will have direct responsibility for:

• Leading, coaching & training a team of up to 15 team members
• Driving the Ghanda values with your store team
• Maintaining a high standard of store presentation in line with our visual merchandising guidelines and brand direction
• Liaising with your Stock Allocator, as well as working independently, to maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the store to maximise return on floor space
• Preparing and monitoring: store rosters, sales reports & store/team compliance
