Job summary

St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland is seeking a Retail Store Manager for Madonna House in Toowoomba. You will oversee end-to-end store operations, budgeting, stock control, buying and ordering, and lead two Assistant Managers plus a large team of daily volunteers.

You will drive retail performance with sustainable fashion focus, develop strategies, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and foster a supportive work environment in a permanent, full-time role based in Toowoomba.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our Madonna House retail store in Toowoomba. This is a standout opportunity to take charge of a thriving retail operation with significant community impact.

As the Retail Store Manager, you will oversee end‑to‑end store operations, including budget management, stock control, buying and ordering, and the leadership of two Assistant Managers and a dedicated team of around 25 volunteers per day. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, implementing effective retail strategies, and ensuring the store continues to deliver exceptional results.

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where no two days look the same. Our Retail Managers are passionate about sustainable fashion, business growth, and creating a unique and engaging shopping experience.

This is a Permanent, Full-time (38 hours per week) position in Toowoomba.
