Job summary

Bond-Eye Australia is seeking a seasoned Store Manager to lead the Bondi flagship. You’ll shape culture, recruit and mentor a 3–4 person team, and partner with head office to drive premium customer experiences in a fast-growing brand.

You will own daily sales, stock, merchandising and community presence, with a focus on consistent energy seven days a week in Bondi.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as a retail store manager leading a team.
• Demonstrated ability to hit and exceed sales targets in premium retail.
• Strong operational skills across opening/closing, stock counts and rosters.

Bond-Eye was born in Sydney, proved itself in New York and is building toward something global — and we’re looking for the person who will make our Bondi Beach flagship the most talked-about store in Australia.

This isn’t a store management role like any other. it’s a chance to build a team, shape a culture and anchor a brand at its spiritual home while it grows internationally. Our DTC business is accelerating, our ambition spans the US, UK and beyond and the Bondi flagship is central to that story. You’ll report directly to head office, lead a close-knit team of 3–4 and grow alongside a brand that promotes the people who help it get there.

What You’ll Build + Achieve

Lead, coach and inspire a small team to deliver the kind of customer experience that turns first-time visitors into lifelong bond-eye devotees

Drive daily sales performance and own your store KPIs — targets set collaboratively with head office so expectations are clear, shared and worth celebrating when you smash them

Build a store that every person in Bondi wants to shop in and every person in retail wishes they worked at — the benchmark isn’t good, it’s the best

Create an atmosphere so beautifully considered and genuinely welcoming that every customer leaves feeling like they’ve discovered something

Manage stock, inventory and replenishment with precision — the right product, in the right place, at the right time

Maintain impeccable visual merchandising that reflects each seasonal collection drop in its best light

Build a roster and team rhythm that keeps the energy high and the experience consistent, seven days a week

Play an active role in recruitment, onboarding and mentoring — you’ll grow the people around you

Become a genuine presence in the Bondi community — our best brand ambassador lives and breathes this neighbourhood

Who You Are

A minimum of 2 years as a retail store manager — you’ve led a team, owned results and you know what a well-run store looks and feels like

Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets in a premium or fast-paced retail environment

Sharp operational skills — you’re across everything from open to close, from stock counts to staff schedules

A natural with people — confident, warm, and genuinely interested in the humans who walk through the door

Passionate about swimwear, fashion, the ocean, and the lifestyle that bond-eye represents

Solution-focused to your core — you don’t wait to be told what’s broken, you’ve already spotted it, thought it through, and you’re ready to walk in with the fix
