Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Security supervisory or management experience
• Previous experience in a retail environment
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site
• Proven track record of reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers
• Oversee the site-based control room and CCTV system
• Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager
• Assess and mitigate risks on site
• Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events
• Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest
• Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on-duty
• Use communication systems including portable two-way radios
• Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety
• Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs
• Recruit and train new employees

Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor to manage one of our busy Retail/Shopping Centre sites in Eastgardens, NSW. The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures. Position Details

• Full‑time position
• Level 4 + penalty rates + Sign on Bonus

Roster

• Tuesday: 0830‑1800
• Wednesday: 0830‑1800
• Thursday: 1200‑2100
• Friday: 0830‑1800
• Saturday: 0830‑1800

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Selection Criteria

• Valid Security Licence is a must
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required
• Security supervisory or management experience preferred
• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
• Reliable transportation (preferred)
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site
• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality
