Wattyl Australia Pty. is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant for our Townsville Store in a permanent full-time position. The role involves meeting customer needs, processing sales, and assisting with paint tinting and stock management.

You will work Monday to Friday with no night shifts, receive uniforms, training, and above-award rates. This is a physical role with manual handling up to 28kg and operation of basic store equipment.

Competenze

• Customer service experience in retail
• Ability to handle cash and EFTPOS processing
• Experience with tinting and mixing paint
• Stock takes and stock replenishment
• Manual handling up to 28kg and operating machinery as needed

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and energetic Retail Sales Assistant to join our Townsville Store in a Permanent Full Time Position.

You will be provided with uniforms, training and paidABOVE award rates!

The opening hours are Monday to Friday (NO nights)

As the Retail Sales Assistant you will:

• Attend to customer queries and orders
• Process sales accurately (cash handling/EFTPOS)
• Assist in the tinting and mixing of paint
• Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
• Using Pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
• Help maintain a clean, tidy store environment

Do you have what we’re looking for?

• Great Customer Service Skills
• Sales experience, ideally within a retail background
• High attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices

This role is a physical position requiring manual handling up to 28kg and operating machinery as needed.
