Job summary

Wattyl Australia Pty. is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join the Townsville Store on a Permanent Full Time basis. The role involves customer service, tinting and mixing paint, regular stock management and admin support, with a 38-hour week.

You will work with a team in a trade environment, using manual handling equipment and contributing to a safe, inclusive workplace. Applicants must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years previous experience processing inbound and outbound stock
• Proven experience in high volume inventory control
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
• Great time management and the ability to prioritize and multi-task

The Townsville opening hours are Monday to Friday (NO nights)

As the Assistant Store Manager you will be involved in:

• Customer service and processing sales
• Tinting and mixing of paint
• You will perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
• Use a forklift, pallet jacks , walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
• Support Store Manager with admin related tasks and other dutiesas required

In order to be considered you will have:
