Baby Bunting in Townsville is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service, create a welcoming shopping experience for families, and support new and expectant parents on their journey.

You’ll engage customers, demonstrate products, manage stock, and rotate shifts on Fridays and Sundays in a busy retail precinct. The role offers part-time hours, a friendly team, staff discounts, paid parental leave, and ongoing training.

Located in Townsville’s busy retail and homemaker precinct, this store sits among a range of major retailers and everyday conveniences, creating steady customer traffic throughout the day. The area is easy to access via major arterial roads, with ample onsite parking available, and is also serviced by local public transport routes. With nearby cafés, takeaway options and shopping centres, it offers a practical and well-connected location for both work and breaks.

Employment Type – Permanent Part-Time

Rosters: Friday 11:00am–3:00pm | Sunday 9:15am–4:15pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. What You Bring To The Team

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
